Although it is visually like the Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is supercharged with a more powerful quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor clocking at 2.5GHz. Snapdragon 805 offers a number of benefits over the Snapdragon 801 in S5 like 70% improvement in memory bandwidth with new faster and more efficient Krait 450 processor. The graphics processor was also upgraded to Adreno 420 from Adreno 330.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features the same display and camera. It features the same 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution as well as a 16 megapixels rear camera and a 2 megapixels front facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also features a fingerprint sensor and water and dust resistance.
