Build and Screen
Although constructed with plastic, the Huawei Ascend GX1 shows off an attractive design. It looks sleek and elegant. But, the phone is not really slim or lightweight at 9.2 millimetres and 173 grams respectively.
It flaunts an amazingly thin bezel and has a screen-to-body ratio of 80.5%, similar to that of the more expensive Ascend Mate7. With a massive screen measuring 6-inch diagonally, this Huawei Ascend GX1 falls in the phablet category.
The touchscreen has 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, with its IPS technology ensuring great colours and wide viewing angles.

Huawei Ascend GX1 packs an 8 megapixels sensor with LED flash on the rear, while there is also an average 2MP front-facing shooter. The integrated storage memory with a capacity of 8 GB may suffice for the storage needs of some users.
