The Design

Featuring an exquisite, slim design, the Fitbit Flex does not have a real screen as could be found on the Fitbit Surge and several other alternatives. Instead, device status is indicated through the aid of five small LED lights which are built into a plastic pebble that can be found beneath the strap.

There is also a row of metal contacts for charging the device’s battery. The Fitbit Flex is quite comfortable to wear with its strap design and is engineered to be water-resistant. Its band is available in several vibrant colours to enable you choose any that works for your mood.

Tracking Capability

The Fitbit Flex is designed to help you track the number of steps you take; amount of calories burned, and the quality of sleep that you get. With the aid of an integrated accelerometer, the device assists in calculating steps taken and calories burned, taking your age, weight and height into consideration.

Fitbit Flex allows you set goals and you will be able to monitor how well you are doing as the LED lights shows – each light represents 20 percent progress.

Fitbit is also interested in the quality of sleep that you get with the Flex on. The tracker can tell you how long you slept and how many times you woke up in the course of the night.

This information helps you to work on getting better, more restful sleep if you are failing in that regard. The tracker vibrates at the set time to wake you up silently without disturbing others.

Additional Information

The Fitbit Flex automatically syncs information generated with a PC, Mac, numerous iOS devices and select Android devices without needing to plug in. It is compatible with several popular health apps to give you the freedom of choosing what works for you. The tracker’s rechargeable battery has a rated run time of up to seven days.
