Chinese OEM, Realme has now released the third generation of its topmost series, and it is none other than the Realme 3. Spending barely a year in the market doesn’t seem to deter the visions of Realme and its team of workaholics. The Realme 3 is the upgrade to the Realme 2. And yes, it is a quality upgrade.

Design and Display
A more reduced teardrop notch is what crowns the face of the Realme 3. With that, it is able to achieve 88% screen-to-body ratio while maintaining 19:9 aspect ratio. The right side of the phone is the dwelling place to the power button. On the other side, the volume rocker makes its presence known. At the back, the dual camera setup and flash are accompanied by the fingerprint sensor and Realme logo.
For the sake of display protection, Realme endowned the smartphone with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 at its front. With the display protected, you can utilize the 720 x 1520 pixels to the maximum limit.
Battery and Camera
The battery capacity of this smartphone is 4,230mAh, similar to what Oppo adds to its budget phones. That’s understandable given Realme was pulled out from Oppo. Anyways, the battery recharges really quick due to the supported 10W charging power.
Frontal images, as well as face recognition are done justice to by the 13MP selfie camera. Around the back, the two cameras controlling photography are 13MP (f/1.8) and 2MP depth sensors.
Hardware and Software
Regarding the hardware, there are two models of the smartphone – one with MediaTek Helio P60 and another with MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. Both have the same Mali-G72 GPU which is very competent for graphics rendering.
Each is paired with either 3GB or 4GB RAM. Also, their storage capacities vary; the first uses 32GB while the other makes use of 64GB. Android 9.0 Pie OS and ColorOS 6 coordinate the phone’s software zone.
