It is the successor of the Infinix Smart 6 and offers some upgrades like a bigger battery, an improved rear camera, and more RAM. Design and Display
Infinix Smart 7 comes in a plastic body available in Polar Black, Coastal Green, Iceland White, and Peacock Blue with a wave pattern on the back. The body also features an antibacterial silver ion coating effective on 99% of bacteria.
The square shaped camera module on the back houses the two rear cameras, dual-LED flash, and fingerprint sensor. The front is covered in glass with a dewdrop notch for the selfie camera.
Infinix Smart 7 features a 6.6-inch display with 720 x 1612 pixels resolution and up to 400 nits of brightness.
Photography
Infinix Smart 7 features an improved camera setup on the back. You still get the same dual rear camera design, but the main camera has been upgraded from 8 megapixels to 13 megapixels. This should offer improved photos and videos compared to Smart 6.
The 13 megapixels wide angle camera is paired with a 0.3MP depth sensor and comes with the ability to record full HD 1080p video.
The front camera remains the same with a 5 megapixels sensor and 720p HD video recording. This Infinix phone also supports AI face unlock.
Hardware and Software
Infinix Smart 7 runs Android 12 with XOS 12 on a sports a MediaTek Helio A22 (12nm) quad-core processor. The chipset is built on a quad-core Cortex-A55 processor clocked at up to 2.0GHz. This is the same chipset in the Tecno Pop 7 Pro, the Tecno Spark Go 2023, the Nokia C100, and the Nokia C200.
Infinix Smart 7 offers 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage. This is an upgrade compared to the 2GB and 3GB RAM provided in the Smart 6. You also get up to 3GB of virtual RAM on the device for a total of 7GB RAM. A dedicated microSD slot is provided on this Infinix Smart series phone.
The 6000 mAh battery should be a big selling point for this device. It offer enough battery stamina to get you through the day.
Connectivity
The smartphone packs dual-SIM with 4G LTE support. You also get 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi. Infinix is swapping out the microUSB port for a USB Type C port on this model. This is another good improvement.

Infinix Smart 7 price in India is expected to be below 7,500 INR. The Smart 7 is expected to cost around 55,000 Naira in Nigeria, 734 GHC in Ghana, 2,315 EGP in Egypt, and 12,790 KES in Kenya.
