The Design
Sporting a very small frame, the Acer Revo One is seemingly designed by Acer to compete with mini desktop PCs like the Apple Mac Mini, HP Pavilion Mini, Intel Compute Stick and other mini desktop offerings.
The build and size is quite attractive, with these being among its key selling points. While the micro PC is well outdone in terms of compactness by the Intel Compute Stick, it is stylish and fit into almost any space.
Acer Revo One features a rectangular, plastic body with curved edges and a glossy finish in white or black.

The Acer Revo One is both a full-fledged media streaming device and a full desktop computer, perfect for both work and entertainment. You can use it as a streaming server for movies and videos with ability to stream to virtually every device you may have in your home.
But you are not just buying a media streaming box with the Acer Revo One, you are getting a complete desktop PC. Simply hook the device to a monitor (which may well be your TV) and use the supplied wireless keyboard and mouse to get important tasks done.

The entry-level model of the Acer Revo One is powered by an Intel Celeron Dual Core processor paired with 2 GB of DDR3L RAM and zippy solid-state drive of 60GB capacity. There are also configurations with Intel Core i3 and i5 processors paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 1TB of hard drive storage.
One of the interesting features of the Revo One is a free Acer Smart Control app, which lets you use your iOS and Android devices as a remote controller for playing music and movies.
The mini desktop features four USB ports (two of which are USB 3.0 ports), an HDMI port, a Mini DisplayPort, a combo headphone jack and SD card slot. Acer Revo One supports Bluetooth 4.0, Ethernet and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.

Acer Revo One media centre PCs are not yet available in Nigeria. Acer Revo One price in Nigeria is expected to start at around N50,000, depending on your location and the configuration of the desktop.
