Design and Build
There are two variants of this drone, the one with a gimbal and the one without. What the gimbal does, is to nullify turbulence by adjusting to keep the camera steady.
You would notice the quadcopter does not really have a propeller guard and the camera is seen hanging downwards front the drone. To make things easier, the leg extends long enough to prevent the camera from touching the ground.
It is made of ABS plastic, big enough not like your typical toy drone that you have with a black finish accentuated by red lines. The BAYANGTOYS X21 has a dimension of 29 x 29 x 22 cm and weighs about 859g which is certainly on the higher side.
Performance
Flying the BAYANGTOYS X21 is so much fun with smooth navigation and stable flight. In addition to this, you have a nice array of stunts to choose from available on the drone with impressive recovery after each execution.
You also have the return home feature which brings it back to the point of take off when signal is lost or when you press the return button.
You also have the follow me feature, where the drone is capable of following you around without having to control it. The hovering is also quite stable combined with a good altitude hold all of which produces nice still pictures and video recording.
Controls
For navigating your drone, there is a remote controller that looks pretty much like that of most drones with a place at the top to keep your smartphone.
The remote controller broadcasts at a frequency of 2.4Ghz and as an extended range of about 450m. At the bottom, there is a monochrome screen for monitoring altitude, distance from take of point and so on.

At the price tag, you really can’t expect more from the BAYANGTOYS X21 drone has, it captures decent pictures with up to 1080p video recording. Thanks to the presence of an 8MP camera and the fixed gimbal to diminish vibrations during flight.
You also have live feed being transmitted to your phone so you can see through the drone’s eyes.
