Design and Display
Samsung Galaxy M30 delivers a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED infinity-U display with a glass cover. This is the first phone in the M series to have an AMOLED display.
The display sports 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution (403 ppi density). The smartphone is almost bezeless, having a 90% screen to body ratio and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Down the screen is a slightly bigger bezel.
The body is made of plastic available in black or blue options. Behind are the fingerprint sensor vertically placed camera sensors at the top left corner while the flash is under the camera.
The brand name is below the fingerprint sensor. Samsung Galaxy M30 comes in gradient blue and black.
Battery and Performance
The M Series appear to come with extra large batteries and seems to be focused on battery stamina and long battery life. Unlike the Galaxy A40 with 3,100mAh battery, the M30 comes with a huge 5000mAh battery to keep it running for long with fast charger available.
15W charging capacity means fast charging is fully supported.
Samsung Galaxy M30 comes in two variants of the 4GB + 64GB and the 6GB + 128GB phone. Both can be expanded by 512GB via SD card.
Enough memory to store files and access random apps without experiencing a lag. It comes with Android 8.1 Oreo, but is upgradable to Android 9 with Samsung One UI.
