Design and Display
The ZTE Nubia Red Magic 6 comes in a premium body design. The handset is built with carbon fiber texture all over its rear panel and asymmetrical lighting to complement its gaming theme. No wonder the company described the design as Mecha Sci-Fi.
The panel is housing the RedMagic and Tencent logo which the first one lights up. It comes in two colors- Carbon Fiber Black and Cyber Neon which is the Blue and Purple Gradient design. The magic 6 measures 169 x 77.1 x 9.7 mm and weighs 220 grams.
On the front, it features a 6.8-inch AMOLED full-screen display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 2400×1080 pixel resolution. This display has support for 500Hz single-finger touch sampling and 300Hz multi-finger touch sampling rates.
It also features 10-bit color support, SGS certification for low smear & blue-light, and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
Cameras
As for the camera setup, the handset is blessed with triple rear cameras of 64MP main lens, 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro sensor. Upfront is a single snapper of 8MP for selfies shooting. The camera is loaded with 4K video, HDR, and also houses Neovision camera optimizations, Cyberpunk filters, and many more.
Hardware and Software
On the hardware, the Nubia Red Magic 6 is equipped with a Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 chipset based on 5nm process technology while the octa-core processor is clocked at 2.84 GHz.
It has LPDDR5 12 RAM and UFS 3.1 256GB storage. For gaming, the smartphone has two shoulders IC-touch buttons on the right that has up to 400Hz touch response rate.

The ZTE Nubia Red Magic 6 is selling for $588 for the standard model that has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will cost up to $680.
In Nigeria, the smartphone will start selling for 230,000 Naira, while in Ghana it will sell at 3,500 Ghs and 68,000 Ksh in Kenya.
