Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is now the latest member of Samsung’s top of the line phablet.

The two Galaxy Notes share a lot in common. They run the same software and come with S-Pen Stylus.

The Performance

With a hexacore processor and 2GB of RAM, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo is a high performance device. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and offers an overall smooth performance. However, with graphics intensive applications, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with octa-core processors and 3GB of RAM will perform smoother.

The Display

The display is one major difference between the two Galaxy Notes. While the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo features a 5.5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels.

This gives the Galaxy Note a ppi (pixels per inch) of 386 compared with the 267 of the Neo. So, the flagship Galaxy Note 3 offers sharper and crispier view.

Which should you buy

Keep in mind that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the main device here. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo is just a look alike built for consumers who prefer a more affordable Note 3. Galaxy Note 3 Neo is a great device in its own right, but if you want the best, it is worth shelling out the extra cash for the real deal (the flagship Note 3).

However, you should buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo if you do not mind the few shortcomings. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo Duos (Dual-SIM model) currently sells for between 86,500 to 92,000 Naira, while the flagship Galaxy Note 3 sells for between 98,000 to 115,000 Naira.
