ZTE F912 is a special mobile phone that can receive Digital Video Broadcasting-Handheld (DVB-H) signals. DVB-H OMA/BCAST is a digital broadcasting technology that enables broadcast of mobile terrestrial television and audio to mobile devices like ZTE F912. ZTE F912 has a built-in DVB-H receiver that enables it receive DVB-H signals like from DSTV Mobile.
ZTE F912 is one of the mobile phones for receiving DSTV Mobile from MTN in Nigeria and Ghana. You can recieve DSTV Mobile in Kenya on Safaricom and in Namibia on MTC using ZTE F912. Other cell phones that can receive DSTV mobile include Nokia N77, ZTE F900, Nokia N97, Nokia N96, and so on. DSTV mobile is a service that allows MTN subscribers to receive encrypted digital satellite TV channels on DVB-H OMA/BCAST compatible handsets. The DVB-H signal is encrypted. ZTE F912 handset has the capability to decode the encrypted DVB-H signal from MTN/DSTV.

ZTE F912 cannot only be used for receiving digital terrestrial TV (although this is a key feature); it can also be used for other normal 3G/3.5G (HSDPA) phone services like voice calls, SMS, MMS, high-speed internet and roaming. TV will automatically switch off once there is an incoming call. ZTE F912 will also notify you of incoming SMS messages.
ZTE F912 is equipped with a 2.2-inch 240 x 320 pixels resolution TFT display, capable of displaying 262 thousand colours. The display is good for viewing your pictures, videos and television broadcasts. ZTE F912 also has a 1.0-inch external OLED display.
ZTE F912 has a built-in 2.0 megapixel digital camera with video capability. Another 0.3 megapixel camera is also provided for video calling.
ZTE F912 has a built-in media player (mp3) with video (MPEG4) playback capability. You have 60 Mbytes of memory for storing your media, which inadequate. However, the storage capacity of ZTE F912 can be extended to up to 8GB using microSD slots.
ZTE F912 handset supports Bluetooth 2.0 wireless connectivity, which gives you many possibilities with this handset.
Subscribers to DSTV mobile service will be able to make and receive other voice and data services on MTN network anywhere in Nigeria using ZTE F912 mobile phone.
Subscribers to DSTV mobile do not require any special SIM card with ZTE F912. Your existing SIM card so long as it is data enabled will receive DSTV mobile signals if slotted into ZTE F912.
When receiving television signals it is advisable to extend the aerial of ZTE F912 handset, as this will improve picture and reception quality.
Note that although you can receive normal phone services anywhere within the MTN network on your ZTE F912, television reception will only be possible where there is mobile TV DVB-H coverage. For now DVB-H coverage is available in Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, and Port Harcourt. Coverage will be available in more locations in the future.
Price for ZTE F912 handset is currently 15,000 Naira and is available at MTN outlets within coverage locations. DSTV Mobile is currently available free in Nigeria. No data cost, no subscription fee. After the free promo period Monthly subscription for DSTV mobile from MTN will be about N1,500 only and consists of a mobile television bouquet of 10 channels.

There is no info on ZTE offices, however if what you want is to buy ZTE F912 and connect to DSTV mobile here is a place you can go to in Lagos:

If they don't have ZTE F912, they will have other phones for receiving DSTV mobile.
Nice phone and well adopted features. Also you can access the TV channels on it and make a sense that well functionality also make your phone well expensive for your. Battery life with video also provide the great efficiency.
