Facebook Home is a new app or a suite of apps from Facebook engineered to better integrate the social networking service into our mobile phones. According to the company Home is designed “to be the next version of Facebook” and “is a completely new experience that lets you see the world through people, not apps”.
Facebook Home is built for Android and replaces your standard Android Home screen with Cover Feed that basically keeps you up to date with what your friends are doing and makes it easy for you to interact with them.
More Facebook on your Phone
Facebook Home puts Facebook at the centre of your mobile phone. It deeply integrates the social networking service on your phone making it easy to share and interact with friends. Facebook Home makes Facebook accessible from every app and just about anywhere on your mobile phone.
With the Chat Heads feature, you can easily interact with friend while using other apps. If a friend sends you a message on Facebook, an image of their face appears on your phone, enabling to easily chat and interact with them. Facebook Home also pushes important Facebook notification to you no matter the app you are currently using.
