Facebook Home is built for Android and replaces your standard Android Home screen with Cover Feed that basically keeps you up to date with what your friends are doing and makes it easy for you to interact with them.

Facebook Home puts Facebook at the centre of your mobile phone. It deeply integrates the social networking service on your phone making it easy to share and interact with friends. Facebook Home makes Facebook accessible from every app and just about anywhere on your mobile phone.

With the Chat Heads feature, you can easily interact with friend while using other apps. If a friend sends you a message on Facebook, an image of their face appears on your phone, enabling to easily chat and interact with them. Facebook Home also pushes important Facebook notification to you no matter the app you are currently using.

How to get Facebook Home

Facebook Home will be available for a free download at Google Play Store in the US starting from April 12, 2013. Consumers in other regions will be able to download Facebook Home shortly after that.

The Home will not work on all Android devices. For now Android phones listed as supported include the HTC One X, HTC One X+, HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S3, and Samsung Galaxy Note II. More Android devices will be supported in future.
