Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 is the 4th generation of Samsung’s popular Galaxy Ace range which made its debut in 2011. Depending on who you ask, the Galaxy Ace 4 maybe considered an upgrade or a downgrade to the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3. Sure, it offers Android 4.4.2, but the 512MB RAM and the 1GHz dual-core processor in the 3G model leaves a lot to be desired. However, Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 LTE model features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM.

Affordable Android Smartphone

Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 has a 4-inch TFT Capacitive touchscreen. It comes in two variants, LTE and 3G. The 3G variant is slimmer and lighter than the LTE variant. Both variants run on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS with the LTE variant powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM while the 3G variant runs a 1 GHz dual-core processor with 512 MB RAM.

The only other major difference between the two Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 variants is their battery capacities with the LTE and 3G variants offering 1800 mAh and 1500 mAh batteries respectively. Similar to the Ace 3, Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 features a 5 megapixels rear camera with LED Flash and auto focus with 0.3MP VGA front facing camera. It also features 4GB of internal storage, expandable by up to 64 GB via micro SD cards.

The major drawback of the Ace 4 3G version is the 512 MB RAM when compared to Ace 3 which had 1GB RAM, though this could partially be due to the fact that Android 4.4 (KitKat) is lighter to handle. Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 3G variant supports downloads of up to 21Mbps with the LTE variant adding HSPA+ with download speed of up to 42Mbps in addition to the super fast 4G LTE which offers up to 150Mbps download speed.
