Design and Display
The LG Gram series features high-end ultrabooks with premium design. The earlier 13- and 14-inch offerings had chassis made of magnesium alloy and it is likely this bigger version will parade similar material.
In spite of its bigger size, LG Gram 15 still retains the same 980 grams weight as its smaller brothers. The weight of less than 1 kg is simply awesome for a laptop this big! In this one you have a bigger ultrabook that is lighter than the 11-inch MacBook Air.
The Gram 15 is as slim as the Dell XPS 15 at its thickest point (0.66 inches), but almost two times lighter.The lightweight notebook packs a 15.6-inch display with the same resolution of 1980 x 1080 as the 13- and 14-inch variants.
Performance and Operating System
LG Gram 15 will be powered by a highly robust sixth-generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor from the latest Skylake family. It isn’t exactly clear how much RAM will be available, but it may not be wrong to expect at least up to 8 GB of RAM based on what was provided on the earlier offerings in the line-up.
Latest Windows 10 operating system will be at the centre of things on the Gram 15, enabling users to enjoy access to the best of features on the Microsoft platform.
The laptop’s Korean maker is promising an impressive seven hours of battery runtime, representing a significant improvement on the battery life offered by LG Gram 14.
