Design and Display
In terms of body design, there’s nothing too special on the phone. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S still maintains the same body with the Redmi Note 7 device. It’s built with glass both on the front and back with a plastic frame.
The smooth panel is where you will find the camera, an LED flash and the fingerprint scanner for security. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S has body dimensions of 159.2 x 75.2 x 8.1 mm and weight 186 grams. It also has splash resistant.
The Dot notch has a screen display size of 6.3 inches with an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 409 PPI density.

Camera
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S has a dual-camera configuration. The main shooter is an impressive 48 MP wide with an additional 5 MP depth sensor. The camera features Dual-LED flash, HDR, panorama and they can shoot 2k video quality.
Selfies lovers will get a front camera of 13 MP with HDR and 1080p@30fps video resolution which is also for video calling.
Hardware and Software
Powering the Android phone is Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 660 chipset with an octa-core processor clocking at a speed of 2.2 GHz. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S has Adreno 512 GPU to handle any graphics related issues and also for gaming.
Taking charge of the system is Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 user interface slapped on top. For music and other file storage, the phone has 32GB internal storage coupled with 3GB RAM.
There is also a bigger variant with 64GB and 4GB RAM. You can still expand the memory up to 256GB which is if you’re willing to sacrifice the second SIM slot.
