These metrics will be able to help you determine which content or pages on your website are the best performers and why. All you need to do is keep in mind that Google appreciates new and original content and your website is frequently crawled by Google. So, if you do manage to post new content frequently then it will end up helping you significantly in rankings.

Track your Rankings for Specific Keyword Phrases

Picking the correct keyword phrases is one of the most important things you can do if you want to gain more traffic. If you use the right keywords, you are likely to get a higher ranking on Google for that particular term most of the time. So, you need to keep track of all your keyword phrases and determine which ones are doing well and which ones are not.

In order to find the behavior flow, go to Google Analytics, then to Behaviour > Behaviour Flow. The behavior flow will show you how users are interacting with your content. It will provide you with a visual representation of all the problem areas on which you need to concentrate on.

Track Conversions

It all comes down to conversions. This is the one thing that you want to track which is to determine if your website is a success or not.

Conversion includes everything the users do while on your website such as engaging with your social media buttons, call-to-action, signing up for your newsletter, etc. it is always great to have a lot of people reading your content, but if they are not interacting with your website enough, then your website will not grow.
