Design
Ring Video Doorbell Wired is refers to as Ring’s smallest video doorbell, thanks to its compact design which measures 3.98 x 1.8 x 0.88 inches. It has an interchangeable glossy faceplate around the edge of the doorbell.
Furthermore, at the center is a camera lens with a round doorbell button which is surrounded by a LED ring that glows white but turn to blue when the doorbell is pressed. There is also a speaker and microphone located at the bottom edge.
To install the doorbell, there is an opening for a security screw at the bottom and two wiring terminal at the back. Ring promised that the Video Doorbell is secured against theft thanks to the use of the Torx security screws which can only be unscrewed by a unique screwdriver provided by Ring inside the box.

Ring Video Doorbell Wired has an advanced motion detection features which allows it to capture and record motion-triggered videos. It records up to four seconds in full color before the doorbell sends you an alert. There feature also alert you if motion is detected, even if the doorbell hasn’t been pressed.
