The Design
BlackBerry Leap is devoid of the regular, physical QWERTY keyboard that devices from its Canadian maker usually come with. Somewhat similar to the Z10 in appearance, the touchscreen smartphone has a sturdy feel and curved back that makes for easy grip.
Atop the 9.5mm-thick smartphone is its power button and headset jack, while the volume control can be found on its right side.

A 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels is provided on the BlackBerry Leap. The touchscreen has a pixel density of 293 pixels per inch.
BlackBerry Leap is fitted with an 8 megapixels rear camera that is capable of recording full-HD (1080p) videos. It also has a modest 2 megapixels camera on the front for selfies and video calling.

BlackBerry Leap sports the BlackBerry 10.3.1 operating system and is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm MSM 8960 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The processor is a bit of a disappointment in that it is rather old and hardly has any new device used it in the last two years.
But the processor’s performance should receive significant help from the 2GB of RAM and Adreno 225 GPU that is provided on the phone. BlackBerry Leap comes with an on-board storage space of 16GB, which you can extend by up to 128GB with microSD.
