A feature phone with power of a Smartphone
Like the Nokia Asha 300 and Asha 303, the Nokia Asha 302 features Series 40 platform on a 1GHz processor, giving it as much processing power as some smartphones. The processor will combine with the 128MB RAM to offer fast performance and rapid response of the user interface and will probably enable more complex apps and features that will improve the user experience.
Nokia Asha 302 comes with great communications support with one touch access to your email, chat, and social network. It is also the first series 40 phone to offer Microsoft Exchange email, which will enable users handle business emails as well as synchronise their contacts.
Nokia Asha 302 features the new Nokia browser with its efficient browsing system that saves data usage and cost. The built-in browser compresses web pages on Nokia's high-speed servers before rendering them on your phone offering a cheaper web access. It also comes with Twitter, Facebook, and Whatsapp pre-loaded.
Nokia Asha 302 comes with an exclusive games gift from EA with 40 games to download from Nokia Store free within 60 days.
Touch Display, QWERTY keyboard & a decent Camera
Nokia Asha 302 comes with a 2.4-inch touchscreen, which we expect to be responsive due to the powerful processor. The display has QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) resolution. Nokia Asha 302 also comes with a physical QWERTY keypad, which makes texting, messaging, and posting updates on social media and IM services faster and makes it attractive for young users that require fast communications on the move.
Nokia Asha 302 also features a 3.2 megapixels camera with VGA (640 x 480 pixels) video recording. The camera is a modest one with full focus, self timer, 4X digital zoom, and image editor.
Network, Data, Internet browsing, Connectivity
Like Nokia Asha 303, Asha 302 features the same cellular network support of latest Nokia Symbian Smartphones: quadband GSM and pentaband WCDMA (3G). It supports high-speed data on HSDPA/HSUPA/UMTS (up to 14.4 Mbps download). Outside 3G coverage the Nokia Asha 302 supports GSM with data services on GPRS and EDGE. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for connecting over WLAN networks, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, USB-on-The-Go, and USB 2.0.

What's the essence of a 1GHz processor without multitasking? When it comes to Java Feature phones, I still believe that Sony Ericsson is the best producer. Nokia really needs to stop concentrating on unnecessary and inordinate features(like 41MP camera on Nokia 808 Pureview, 1GHz processor on the Nokia Asha series phones, etc.), and give its customers something worthwhile. As a matter of fact, I only see all the Nokia Asha series 40 phones as nothing but "Same old wine served in a new bottle."
These phones are sold very cheaply at shoprite centers in Nigeria. If you visit one of these centers in your area, you will be amaze to see a lot of products sold at affordable prices. Shoprite are really trying for us here.
I have it alredy, soooooooo cooooooooooooooool!
