HP Pavilion 13 x360 Hybrid for 2015

Design and Screen

This ultraportable laptop does not differ much from its smaller brother, the Pavilion 11 x360. Plastic features conspicuously in its construction and it has similar geared lid hinge that makes it possible to flip the laptop around 360 degrees.

But HP Pavilion 13 x360 will not have as many colour options as its 11-inch brother – available only in silver and sunset red colours. HP Pavilion 13 x360 comes with a 13-inch touchscreen having a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. You can get a model with a more impressive display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels if you don’t mind shelling out extra cash.

The Hardware

Compared to the refreshed 11-inch Pavilion x360, the new HP Pavilion 13 x360 is more powerfully decked out with options of 5th generation Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processors.

The powerful processors can be supported with up to 16GB of RAM. Unlike the 11-inch model, this laptop will not have an SSD, but will come with a 500GB hard drive instead. It will be supplied with a battery that can reportedly support almost 11 hours of use on a single charge.

Multiple Modes

Being a fold-back hybrid, the HP Pavilion 13 x360 supports four different modes, thanks to its quality hinge that allows it to flip around 360 degrees. Aside from the laptop mode which you can use when there is serious work to be attended to, a tablet mode can be switched into when browsing the Internet or reading articles online.

The convertible notebook can be put in a tent mode when making a presentation or a stand mode when looking to maximise your gaming experience.

The B&O Play audio software installed shows that this fold-back hybrid is not just intended for work only, but as a great choice for taking your leisure to the next level. The 13-inch Pavilion x360 and its 11-inch variant will go on sale May 13.

Pricing and availability

HP Pavilion 13 x360 convertible laptops are available in Nigeria. HP Pavilion 13 x360 price in Nigeria starts at around 105,000 Naira, depending on your location and the configuration of the laptop.
