Nokia N8 OS, Software and Hardware

Nokia N8 offers a faster performance, coming with a powerful 680MHz Arm III processor and a separate 3D graphics accelerator. This means the N8 will handle 3D and 2D graphics quite well, although that comes short of a 1GHz processor being launched by competitors. Nokia N8 is the first Nokia phone announced with the Symbian^3 OS. The Symbian^3 was aimed at making Nokia smartphones respond to the growing challenge from newer, high performance OS like the Android and was designed with touchscreen phones in mind.
